Program Information for U5-U7-U9-U11 COMMUNITY programs

Welcome to our web site.

2024 will see the local community programs teaming up with the West Prince Storm Soccer Club for the first time which is extremely exciting for the club.

Under 5 ages (born in 2019/2020):

***  PLEASE TAKE NOTE - THE UNDER 5 PROGRAM FOR BLOOMFIELD IS AT CAPACITY AT THE MOMENT AND WE ARE CREATING A WAITLIST FOR ANY FURTHER NAMES.  Please send a message to Brian at allainbrian@hotmail.com to be put on the waitlist for the Under 5 program for Bloomfield ***

The Under 5 age programs will take place as follows.  Bloomfield will be running an Under 5 dedicated soccer program (as well as their under 7 program) while all of the remaining communities will be running an Active Start program for the Under 5 age group.  Only the players who are playing out of Bloomfield will actually register with the Club for Under 5.  All other under 5 community programs will register directly with their community so please do not register with the club.

Under 7 ages (born in 2017/2018):

For the Under 7 age group - teams will be created within each of the communities (Tignish, Alberton, Bloomfield, O'Leary, Ellerslie & Evangeline), they will not be playing a weekly game like the older ages will be but the plan is to have them come together 2-3 times over the course of the summer for some local jamboree's to get some games played at that time.   Therefore, all Under 7 aged players will register thru the West Prince Storm soccer club and in the registration process you will see a question asking which community you are playing out of - please select that community and we will forward all names onward.  The Under 7 program will still be a co-ed program.

Under 9 & Under 11 ages (Under 9 are born in 2015/2016 and Under 11 are born in 2013/2014):

The plan is to try and create both female and male teams within each community (Tignish, Alberton, O'Leary, Ellerslie & Evangeline) at the Under 9 and Under 11 ages.  In the end numbers may dictate otherwise however that is the goal.  These teams would practice in their community on a weekly basis and would come to Hernewood one night a week to play their weekly game in the summertime.  The club will be helping to develop a coaching program for the local coaches for Under 7, 9 and 11 and by having the games at Hernewood for the Under 9 and 11 ages we can help with referee's, standard playing sizes for fields/nets, etc..

Please follow the link below to register for the summer - again, please take note that you will be asked the question of which community you are playing in, please let us know so that we can co-ordinate with the community leaders to help put the teams together.
