Free Soccer ID camp - update
The West Prince Storm soccer club is excited to be starting up the 2025 program with some free “come out and try soccer” ID camps. These sessions are open to both any returning players from previous summers as well as to anyone who would like to come out to see what the sport is all about.
You do not need to register for these sessions that are taking place on March 25 & 27 as well as April 1 & 3. Simply show up to Hernewood for the correct age group according to the schedules and give the sport a try. Please have clean sneakers (no cleats) for the sessions.
In the hopes of kicking things off with a bang, we are hoping to have a guest coach come up each night to run the sessions. We have Andy Cameron (former UNB University coach/Canada Games coach for NB & NFLD) coming up on March 25 & April 3. Graeme MacDonald is planning to be here on April 1 (current PEI Soccer Technical Director/vast coaching experience in Canada & Europe) and we are hoping to have Jon Vos here on March 27 (current coach of Holland College men & women). This is a chance to see some fantastic coaches.
The schedule again for the sessions is as follows:
*** Please note, the weather is calling for 10 to 15 cm of snow overnight Monday night. Should school be canceled on Tuesday for the Westisle family of schools then the soccer camp will be canceled for that night as well and we will look to reschedule all of the sessions from that date to April 8th instead.
