GOALKEEPER CLINIC:
We are going to offer a free goalkeeper clinic to be held on Wednesday from 5:00 to 6:00 pm at Hernewood. It will be offered to anyone from Under 9 to Under 18 who would like to come out. Fran MacWilliam who played with the PEI Soccer provincial program and is currently playing with one of our Senior women's teams will be offering some training drills and tips. We may have a couple of more instructors as well as we have several keepers who have come thru the provincial program over the years. This will be a chance for keepers to receive some direct training for their specific position. We hope to see lots of goalkeepers out there.
COMPETITIVE TEAMS:
*** Under 9 travel teams:
The Under 9 travel teams have been registered for the RC/CQ Under 9 tournament which will take place on August 9 with rain date August 10. Please email me ASAP at allainbrian@hotmail.com and let me know if you are able to attend on that weekend.
Once we know the confirmed players we will decide on the rosters for the girls two teams. The boys will have one team in the tournament for sure. The registration fee will be $20 per player and that can be paid to the team coach at the tournament.
Schedule for this week:
Monday, July 28
Senior women division 2 will play at Hernewood at 5:30 pm vs. Summerside
Senior women division 3 will play at the Hernewood at 7 pm vs Eastern Eagles Black
Under 13 girls first division will practice from 6:30 to 7:30 pm at Hernewood (go to U13 field)
Tuesday, July 29
Under 18 girls premier will play at Hernewood at 6:30 pm vs. Stratford
Under 9 travel teams will train at 5:15 pm at Hernewood (boys & girls - please go to the main soccer field inside the track)
Under 11 girls division 2 and 3 teams will train at 6:00 pm at Hernewood (please go to the main soccer field inside the track)
Under 11 boys division 2 team will train from 5:30 to 6:30 pm at Hernewood (please go to the under 11 field)
Under 11 boys division 3 team will train from 6:30 to 7:30 pm at Hernewood (please go to the Under 11 field)
Under 13 boys first division team will train at 6:00 pm at Hernewood (please go to u13 field)
Wednesday, July 30
Goalkeeper clinic to be held at Hernewood from 5:00 to 6:00 pm (please go to the main soccer field inside the track)
Under 18 girls first division team will play at Hernewood at 6:30 pm vs. RC United #1
Thursday, July 31
Under 13 boys first division team will play at Hernewood at 6:00 pm vs. WC Royals White
Under 13 girls first division team will play at Hernewood at 7:20 pm vs. WC Royals
Friday, August 1 - Saturday, August 2 - Sunday, August 3
Under 11 Girls division 2 will be playing in the Central Queen’s tournament
Under 11 Boys division 2 will be playing in the Central Queen’s tournament
Under 13 Girls first division will be playing in the Central Queen’s tournament
Under 18 Girls premier will be playing in the Central Queen’s tournament
*** Schedules are available by going to the RC United soccer website, coaches should have shared the schedules with their individual teams as well
*** Under 11 Girls division 3 team will not have a game this weekend
*** To be determined as to whether the Under 11 boys division 3 team will have a game or not this weekend, PEI Soccer needs to find out how many teams are available to play due to the tournament and then who they can match up with who.

Senior men division 2 will play at UPEI at 4 pm vs. Klutch FC
