Indoor soccer update - week of January 26

Tuesday, January 27 at O’Leary Elementary

***  If school is canceled on Tuesday morning then these sessions are canceled as well

6:00 to 7:00 pm for Under 11 and Under 13 girls

7:00 to 8:00 pm for Under 11 and Under 13 boys

Wednesday, January 28 at Hernewood Intermediate

***  If school is canceled on Wednesday morning, then these sessions are canceled as well

***  The plan at the moment is go out this Wednesday then take a week off (the zone basketball tournaments are on Feb 4 from what I have been told so we are going to take that night off since a lot of the players would be at these tournaments all day).  We will finish things up on Wednesday, February 11with the current program and then we will look to maybe do something a little different for the following few weeks until we really start to get going for the spring/summer sessions.

7:00 to 7:45 pm - the numbers have been light on the girls side overall these past few weeks so what we are going to do for this week and February 11 is to simply open it up for any girls who want to come out for these last 2 sessions.  We will create two teams each night and they will play for the time that they are there.

7:45 to 8:30 pm - the numbers have been a little better on the boys side so we will stay with the team format and will be playing team 1 vs. team 2 this night and the team that wins that game will play on February 11 vs. team 3 and then that will wrap this phase up 

After these next two weeks are completed, we will figure out what our next steps are.  We may look to do a bit of an older age group for a few weeks, we may have open training sessions for different age groups on a rotation basis, etc…

We still have quite a few of the players who have not paid their $25 registration fee for the Wednesday night program.  Please send that this week to westprincestorm@gmail.com and use soccer as the security password.
