West Prince Storm - Club Update July 11

Senior men:

The senior men beat TSI 2 FC by a score of 3 to 1, the team does not play again now until July 17

U11 Boys; 

On Tuesday July 5th, U11 boys won a tough game against Elliot river 5-3. Great performances by Joe Gaudet Chaisson who scored 3 goals and Kip Nurse who scored 2 goals and Oliver Hutt who had a great game in net to give them the win. The teams next battle with be in Summerside at 6:30pm on Tuesday, July 12th. The U11 boys will practice again on Monday, July 11th at 6pm. 

U13 Boys; 

On Thursday, the U13 boys sadly lost their home game 5-0 but fought hard during the match. This week they have a practice on Tuesday, July 12th at 6pm and they play Thursday, July 14th at Credit Union place turf field at 6 pm against Summerside. 

U13 Girls; 

U13 girls second division beat Stratford 6-1. 3 goals were scored by Danielle Perry and Laura Dean, Maddie Lou Robertson and Alexandra Gallant each scored one goal each. Madeline Oliver played in net first half while Maddie Lou and Alexandra each played in net during the second half. The next game will be against Eastern Eagles on Monday, July 11th in Montague at 6:30 pm.  The team will practice again on Thursday at 6:00 pm. 

U15 Girls; 

U15 premier girls fought hard and won against 1-0 against Elliot River. The goal was scored by Katherine Arsenault and Mela Richard had the shutout. The team will practice next on Monday July 11th at 5:30 pm for an hour and then will play next on Thursday, July 14 at Hernewood vs. Winsloe

U15 Boys:

U15 boys first division had a great game vs. Stratford on Tuesday, July 5th and came away with a 3 to 0 victory.  The team's next game will be at the Souris Rink field on Tuesday, July 12th at 6:30 pm 

U18 Girls; 

U18 girls premier tied Eliot River 0-0. Amelia DesRoche had the shutout in goal. Their next Battle will be on Tuesday, July 12th in Sherwood against Hillsborough United at the Parkman Soccer complex.  The team will be practicing this week on Thursday at 7 pm.

Senior Womens; 

The senior women Storm team had their 5th win this season against Elliot River Ramblers in Cornwall 7-0 and Janelle Perry led the way with 2 goals and Amanada Gallant, Maggee Fraser, Mariah Gallant, Chelsey Gallant and Madeline Morrison each added one goal each. After this win, the team is now in 3rd place in the western division.  The team will be hosting Summerside at Hernewood on Monday, July 11 at 7:00 pm

The senior women Western Wild team suffered a defeat to the PEI FC team on July 4th, the team will be playing at the Central Queen's complex on Monday, July 11 at 7:00 pm vs. Ace of Spades.
