Under 11 boys update

Hi everyone,

We have had a lot of interest over the past several days with several more players registering or inquiring on playing for the under 11 boys team this year.  Because of this we are going to bring the group out tomorrow night (Monday, May 22) at Hernewood at 6:00 pm for an open tryout and then will choose the team after this.  Unfortunately we are working on a time crunch as the team would have their first game on Saturday, May 27 - most likely in Summerside so this will be the only time we can get them out before their first game.

We will take a maximum of 13 players with this team, should we have more than 13 players express an interest in playing then the best that we can do for those players not chosen in the list of 13 will be a chance to continue training with the team for the summer if they wish to do so and should any players be missing for a game then the coach could call upon these players to come in and play for a game when needed.  As you are aware summer is a busy time so the chance to get called in for a couple of games is very real.  For this role players would just need to be covered for insurance purposes so it would just be a $60 cost.  For the players chosen for the team the cost would be $175 for the summer and that would include their uniform kit.
