West Prince Storm Soccer Club - U18 girls premier/first division teams
Hi everyone,
Sorry it has taken some time to put the lists together for the two under 18 teams, this has been extremely hard on us to try and come up with a decision. In the end, we know we won’t make everyone happy but hopefully everyone will understand that we certainly do not make any of these decisions lightly. It is the absolute worst part about volunteer coaching and it doesn’t get any easier no matter how many times it has to be done, in fact I think it gets worse. We truly hope that every player will stay and play this summer as we do feel like we have some very talented players on these two lists below. Lincoln will be coaching the premier team and Brian will be coaching the first division team.

As mentioned yesterday at the final tryout, we are listing more players on the first division team. A player who is listed as premier cannot be moved down for games to the first division team. Every player who is on the first division team is eligible to be called up to the Premier team anytime players are going to be missing. For playoff’s, 5 of the players from the first division team can be listed on the premier team as AP players. 4 of those 5 spots are still to be determined.
The first game for the premier team will be May 21 at 7:15 pm at the Summerside turf.

The first division will have 9 teams in it by the look of things so if it stays that way it will be an 8 game regular season followed by most likely a single knockout style playoff round (lose and you are done, win and continue onward toward the Championship game). As we do not have a team below us to call up from, the 18 players who are listed above will be the team for the summer including playoffs. The team’s first game will be held on May 29th, location to be determined.
