Competitive & community team schedule for this week for games & practices
*** I realize that some players showed up for the community under 11 program last night thinking that there was a game - the very first week of the schedule had been canceled but that was pushed back to August 26 for the rescheduled date. My apologies for not sending out this weekly reminder yesterday, it completely slipped my mind.
*** I also sent out an email a few days asking for everyone who had not sent along the registration payment to please do so by August 9. One thing I should have mentioned in that email is that if you were to go login into your ramp account it will not have been updated yet for the payments that we did receive. I will be working on that this week, this is a very time consuming process and I just have not had the extra hours needed to get this done with trying to keep both the community side and competitive side of the club on the go. I am hoping to have a couple of free time slots this week to work on this and will hopefully have everything updated in the next week or so. My apologies on this not being done sooner but there have been too many other issues that have taken up the time that I am able to give to the club.

We are planning to have an under 7 jamboree on this date (The jamborees will be held on August 10 and August 24). For the August 10 date communities will have until Wednesday, August 7 to "register" teams with the club and then we will put out a schedule on Thursday. For instance, Tignish might have 1 boys and 1 boys, Ellerslie might have 2 girls and 2 boys, etc... We are planning to likely do the girls in the morning and boys in the afternoon if we have 5 teams or more with boys the boys & girls BUT if we only get 4 teams or less in both then we will do the 4 girls teams for a set of games then go with the 4 boys teams for a set of games and so on until everyone gets 3 games played.
*** At the moment the long range forecast is saying that we could get hit with the tail end of Tropical Storm Debby on Friday and/or Saturday. If that is the case then we will have to see what the forecast is as that would not make for a very fun day. If it does get canceled then we will be looking at going out on 13th for one group and the 14th for the other group as we try to get this event in.
As well though, either way whether we get the event in on the 10th or on the 13th/14th - we are also going to have an OPEN night on Wednesday, August 21 - on this night if any under 7 teams want to come out, we will set up exhibition games and get everyone an extra game or couple of games - ie: if Bloomfield, Ellerslie and Tignish all said that they would have one girls team that would be interested in playing a couple of games we would set up a little round robin. We could one field for boys and one field for girls (like we do with the under 9 games)
