We will be looking to offer our community under 9 aged players a chance for a bit of extra training/competition in 2026. Last summer we were able to put together 2 teams on the girls side and 1 team on the boys side at the Under 9 age level and these teams did some extra training above & beyond what they were doing within their community program.
The plan for 2026 is to once again offer this program and to attempt to have two teams on both the girls and boys side. The teams would go to a couple of the one day mini tournaments that the clubs Stratford and RC United hosted. We would also like to try and have a mini tournament here in West Prince.
Players must commit to playing in the community program in order to take place with this program as the goal is to not take away from the community program but in essence help make it stronger. The cost would be minimal, basically just a uniform fee as well as any tournament entry costs.
We will hold tryouts for these teams at some point in early June and start to get them prepared for the tournaments.
